Fish & Wildlife Conservation Intern
(OFAH/Fitzsimons Financial Conservation Intern)
The Ontario Federation of Anglers & Hunters Foundation (OFAH Foundation) is offering an exciting 8-month OFAH/Fitzsimons Financial Conservation Intern position for a recent graduate who wants hands-on experience in fish and wildlife conservation, policy, education, and community outreach.
Working alongside biologists, conservation professionals, and educators, you’ll gain real-world experience supporting major programs such as:
• Lake Ontario Atlantic Salmon Restoration Program (LOASRP)
• Invading Species Awareness Program (ISAP)
• Community Hatchery Program (CHP)
• Education and Youth Programs
• Conservation policy and research initiatives
This is an excellent early-career opportunity—many past interns have gone on to graduate school or careers in conservation, government, and environmental organizations.
Location: Peterborough, Ontario
Job Length: January 11, 2027 – September 3, 2027
Job Term: 1 full-time seasonal contract 35 hours per week
Salary: $21.00 per hour + 4% vacation pay
