🎈Motivational Mondays! 🎈

Enjoy your Labour Day! Take a moment to rest and reset!

#findyourfreshstart
EPC will be closed on Monday September 7th for Labour Day. Regular business hours resume on Tuesday September 8th.

Labour Day has its roots in the late 19th century, when workers began organizing to demand better wages, safer working conditions, and reasonable working hours. In Canada, one of the early milestones was the Toronto printers’ strike for a shorter workweek in 1872, which helped spark greater recognition of workers’ rights. Over time, organized labour played an important role in improving workplace standards and advocating for employees across the country. Labour Day became an official Canadian holiday in 1894, giving workers a day to recognize the contributions they make to our communities and economy. Today, Labour Day is a great reminder of the value of meaningful employment, fair workplaces, and the people who make our communities stronger every day.
